While the ward member was working in the field in Methanapur village of Meenapur police station area of Muzaffarpur, his two sons along with him came there. After which one son Dheeraj Kumar died on the spot due to electric shock, while the other son Rahul Kumar is undergoing treatment in SKMCH in critical condition.
The father of both of them survived because he was wearing slippers. After getting information about the incident, a crowd of local villagers gathered at the spot. After which everyone was hurriedly admitted to the hospital for treatment, where Dheeraj Kumar died during treatment, while Rahul Kumar has been admitted for treatment in critical condition.
In this case, ward member of Raghopur and former Mukhiya Meghnath Sah said that he has been doing farming for many years by taking lease of the land of the monastery. Even today the whole family had gone to the field to see the vegetables. During this time, both the sons came in contact with the current running in the electric wire. In which one died during treatment. Meanwhile, SHO Santosh Kumar of Meenapur police station said that the matter is being investigated and further action will be taken after receiving a written complaint from the victim.
